Mothers Empowering Mothers
Saskatoon's Postpartum Support Group
We believe every mother and family deserve quality, accessible support. By providing accessible support we will reduce the incidence of postpartum depression and perinatal mood disorders in mothers.
Mothers Empowering Mothers Inc. was started in 2017, by a collective of passionate postpartum professionals, who have all experienced depression and anxiety during motherhood. We are a local Non-Profit Organization that runs only on funding we receive from donations. 1 in 5 women in Saskatchewan suffer from a perinatal mood disorder, this includes;
Perinatal Depression (during pregnancy and postpartum)
Postpartum Anxiety (during pregnancy and postpartum)
Postpartum Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder
Bipolar Mood Disorders
Women have lost their village of support, we are here to bring that support back to mothers and families. We offer a variety of services, all of which are available on a sliding scale basis. Single mothers and low income families qualify for free services.
